Niji Body Pattern by SiguusaEcho Niji Body Pattern by SiguusaEcho
I'M NOT SURE WHY YOU GUYS WANT THIS CRA-----
But okay, you guys can have it o.o Feel free to download it for a bigger resolution, modify it as you wish, and hand out to whoever, etc, etc. Sorry there's only the body, but I'm pretty sure the rest of it is pretty easy. Haven't gotten around to doing a tutorial, so make due with this in the meanwhile... :'D

I modified this pig pattern for what you see up there and made this with it

The back still has some issues(isn't flat.. but may be because I under stuffed it.), and the feet are like that cos... I like them like that. And my x-acto knife doesn't like round edges. But anyways, I do like how the feet turned out, so deal D<

Sew the top 2 pieces together first, then sew the third bottom piece to the 2. I just used wire in the tail, wings, horns, and ears and stabbed them into a half-stuffed Nai and twisted the wire inside. The feet has wire wrapped tinfoil. I don't really wanna try explaining anymore without picture reference cos I kinda suck at that, so I'll leave it at this for now >.>

Enjoy >.>;

Niji that people made with this pattern~

Do you think you could make an easier pattern for wings? I cant do the feather. And do you need 2 of each pattern? The top says2 but the bottom does'nt

Hey, I'll answer your other comment here as well:

That is so cute! Eep! Did you use sewing machine? I recenly started making plushies for christmas and the otakuzine got me interested in Karneval. I finished my percy jackson character plushies for my friends but I never do well with animals cause I get the plarts mixed up(half my horse is fuzzy. Half is inside out. The ears are missing, I cant attatch the tail, forgot to sew eyes first)lol myself. Is there a video tutorial yet? How did the ears and tail attatch? Gyaaaa!!!! Its so fat and squishy! That is also how I describe yukkin, and the bunnies, and the sheep. Also. Because I can't afford.oven bake clay because of the price what can you suggest for the horns? Would winding up some yellow and orange fuzzy pipe cleaners eork?
---------

First off, there are just 3 pieces to the pattern - the bottom one says cut on fold. The wings I made out of feathers, but you could also sew plushie wings(You'll have to look up another tutorial, I don't do them, I'm afraid). I sewed it together by hand because the fur was kind of thick and I had time at work lol. I modified a pig pattern and you can find the instructions here, it's basically the same thing. Pipe cleaner could work, and you can always sew the horns, use paper mache/paper clay... Pretty much, if it doesn't look nice, don't attach the horns til they look as good as you want them to be x)

Sorry for not being more clear :x Lemme know if you need any thing else clarified.

so the bottom piece is folded before cutting out the shspe then cut out the hole for stuffing? Im pretty new at this so could you possiable tell me a wat to print a really big version of the pattern? And where and when to embroyder the nose?

Don't cut out a hole for the stuffing. Just leave one side(between the legs) unsewn for that. After sewing the top together, you want to sew the bottom to them at the mouth to at least the fore legs. You'll want to embroider the nose at that point.

As for printing, I'm not sure what program/printer you use, but a quick Google search on how to resize images for printing will probably get you a better explanation than I could give lol

I think I get it but one last thing. Is the bottom piece supposed to be folded(on a folded cloth) so it comes out like a mirror image is conected. Like erm(bad at explaining)it has 4 legs and not just 2?

Cut 2 of the top piece, sew them along the top until you reach the middle line(It's not a cut line, do not cut that line >.>) on both sides. Then you'd cut the bottom piece on a fold and sew it to your two first pieces. Leave a hole along the side or back(I prefer the side, but it really depends how big you're making it and what you find easier) to flip it inside out and to stuff it :3 Hope that helps.

Quick question before I attempt my own: How did you get the wings in there? O.o;; I can pretty much figure the rest. Thanks for the awesome pattern! :)

The wings had wire throughout the entire length which was stabbed into the body and twisted inside with the ends pointing inwards(so they don't end up stabbing anyone by accident). As for how they fold >.< Crappy explanation warning: I just looked up how wings worked, and hot glued pieces of foam as a base for the feathers while leaving space for the 2 joints(the one nearest to the body doesn't count) but the feathers hide those points. The wings are bent up, then the middle joint is bent down, and the third is rotated... not sure how well you can see it in the other deviation... It really is hard for me to explain, I'm sorry z,z

Hmm what I did was sew the back together and left like .5cm. Then I sewed the bottom and pretty much just ended up with a hole where I sewed the tail in. I hope that helps, I'm not that great at explaining >.> On another note, I'm making another one and I took pictures this time. No foldable wings though :(
